CLUB COMPETITION/AWARDS 2006

On Saturday the 27th of January saw Inverclyde tae kwon-do host the first of this years interclub competitions. With divisions for patterns and sparring 38 members of the Academy took part.
Starting with patterns on the day Instructors Charles and Gillian Boyle gave most senior students there first chance refereeing, and the same again with sparring with Mr &Mrs Boyle stepping in to help out when needed.

Everyone who took part on the day done extremely well and there was a fantastic atmosphere among students and spectators alike. The next Interclub competition will be held in September. The students are warming up for the start of there competition season with the first being in Swindon on the 18th of February, we wish everyone travelling the best of luck.
A new club will be opening on the 27th of February in Boglestone community centre at 6.30pm for juniors and 7.30pm for adults, so come along and give it a try first lesson free, you have nothing to lose.
