INVERCLYDE INTERCLUB COMPETITION

On the 15th of September the Scottish Tae Kwon-Do Academy held it’s 2nd interclub competition of the year. With only students from the Scottish Tae Kwon – Do Academy being invited to take part it provided a great opportunity for those students who have never competed before to get among the action. The day proved to be a great success for everyone from the students to the parents who also had a fantastic time.

With students from Greenock, Gourock and Port Glasgow taking part there was also a new branch of the Academy, the Little Panthers who are aged from 4 – 6 year olds based in Greenock, also took part for the first time.
With 16 divisions on the day, with pattern divisions from white belt to black belt and then moved on to sparring divisions from pee – wee to adults sparring divisions. Both parents and students had such a great time on the day that they were eager to find out when the next event was to take place. With all students who competed leaving the event with a trophy everyone left happy on the day.

The winning students on the day received an extra certificate and the Academy’s interclub title until the next event in January. The full results can be veiwed here
