Master Visits Academy 2011

 

The 1st weekend in October saw Master Amrit kalcutt fly into glasgow for a weekend of training within the Scottish Tae Kwon-Do Academy. Master Kalcutt 6th degree black belt is one of the leading names in Tae Kwon-Do throughout the UK with over 30 years experience and 25 years teaching experience in Tae Kwon-Do. He is also the founding member of the West Midland School of Tae Kwon-Do one of the most succesfull and respected competition squads in the UK.

 

Master Kalcutt put senior members of the Academy through there paces on the Friday night, going through patterns, sparring, self defence and loads more. Training for 75 minutes all students looked as if they had been taining for about 3 hours, but all students still managed a smile at the end of class.

Master Kalcutt was also in town to oversee the Academy's Black Belt grading on the Saturday as well, results of this will follow shortly.

 

The Academy's door are now open for new members from the age of 4 years and over, we meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Academy's new training hall at 29 West Stewart St, Greenock.
