N.I.T.A British Championships Nov 2011
On the 26th November, seven students from Scottish Tae Kwon-Do Academy traveled to Hereford for the N.I.T.A British Championships held by Master Clive Harrison 7th degree black belt. With four nations taking part, the 7 Scottish students done well taking 12 trophies on the day including 6 british titles 3 silver and 3 bronze.
Mr & Mrs Boyle were very proud of the students as they competed well on the day with everyone taking home a medal.
The winning students were:
Logan Boyle won British Title for boys peewee point sparring division:
Nico Matarano won 3rd in boys over 4ft point sparring division and 3rd in boys yellow to green belt patterns:
Scott Harper won 2nd in boys over 4ft blue to red belt point sparring and 2nd in continuous sparring division:
Ciaran Lynch won British Title in boys under 5ft boys green to blue belt point sparring division:
Amy Rodger won 2 Brittish Titles in girls over 5ft red to blackbelt point sparring and continous sparring divion and 2nd in patterns:
Kevin Glen won 3rd in mens blue to black belt heavy weight continous sparring division:
Alexander Clark won 2 British Titles in boys over 5ft 6in in black belt points sparring and continuous sparring.
The Academy now looks forward to a short break over the Festive season, but when returning on 4th January 2012 will be offering 1 month of Free training to all new students.
