Academy's impressive medal haul
On the 1st of November 10 students off the Scottish Tae Kwon-Do Academy plus coaches and parents travel to Kidderminster to compete in the Verve UK Open championships, hosted by Mr. John Swift of the Independent Tae Kwon-Do Schools. The Scottish Tae Kwon-Do Academy travel to this group twice every year and always perform really well but this time they outdid themselves by brining home 23 medals between 10 students, 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 4 Bronze. Mr. & Mrs. Boyle club instructors are extremely proud of all students who traveled to take part. Students competed in individual patterns, team patterns, individual sparring and tag team sparring. This event brings the academy's competition season to an end for this year with there next event in January of next year. Mr. & Mrs. Boyle and all of our competitors throughout the year would like to say a big thank you to Frank O'Neil and Hardies Coaches for all of there help and support this year.
