GTI Southern Taekwondo Open
Swindon February 2006

Inverclyde Tae Kwon-Do travelled to Swindon for there first tournament of the year. Eleven students travelled to compete along with the best England had to offer and returned home with a total of sixteen medals for there efforts, competing in Patterns Point sparring and continuous sparring (for blue belt and above). Six Gold, Five Silver and Six Bronze was the haul.
The tournament was held by the Global Tae Kwon-Do International and hosted by Mr Ian Fendt 3rd degree blackbelt.

The club is now back in training for the S.T.A 2006 championships to be held next month in Larkhall and hope to do extremely well. Mr Boyle club Instructor would like to say well done to everyone who took part and also thank Mrs Pamela Miller and Mrs Pauline Bethel who over the years have acted as chaperones for those students who travel alone. And also Mr Sean Gorman of Arnold Clark in Greenock who helps us each time we travel with the hire of Mini-buses.
